Its been a case of losing everything, gaining something and putting myself through tests.
Strangel enough just 2 hours from right now I witnessed what I've just described packed into a very neat hour.
It was my friends newly formed football (soccer) team's first match which ended in a devastating result of 9-0. It was hardly worth the trip but it was a good experience for the players as they learned to make sacrifices and lose a sense of "fairness" for the benefit of the game and everyone else. I advised them that this would be a simple test to push them at their limits, which it was, for it was the team that has won the leauge twice in a row.
All in all my friend's team should either become stronger from this first experience or they will all just give up.

Moving on....
Today has been my one day of the year where I over-reflect.
The reason for this is quite tragic but believe me I got over it. Its the 8 year anniversary of my Grandfathers death, which without going into too much detail was a key turning point in my life and as I do every year I made a tribute for him.
Being the excentric U2 fan I am, I changed the words to Pride (In The Name Of Love) to suit him.
And here they are:
One man come in the name of love
One man come and go
One come here to justify
One man to overthrow
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
One man caught without gaurd or fence
One man fight to resist
One man shot cold on an crowded beach.
One man betrayed with a kiss
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
Late afternoon, February 15th
Sudden death under the setting sky
Free at last, he may of took your life
But he left your pride
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love..
And Happy Valentines Day :D
